Coach Swan's Team Camp for Free Agents

This option is for individuals who want to participate in our team camp but do not have a team. There will be no more than 8 participants on each team. You have the option to play 3 or 4 games. Players will be placed on teams according to their grade level and years of experience.

SPOTS ARE LIMITED AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS

Grades: JV & Varsity High School Teams Non-Scholastic teams with participants entering the 9th - 12th grade Times: Games will start at 9:00am Location: Bowie State University Price: $75.00 Four Games Included REGISTER

FORMAT:

Each team will play 3 or 4 games (based on your selection at registration)
(4) 10-minute quarters running clock
Clock stops the last two minutes of each half.
Game will end if a team is up 20 or more points with 2 minutes left in the game.
5 team fouls shoot double bonus. Reset each quarter.
Halftime 3 minutes
(3) 30 second timeouts per game. Only can carry (2) over to the second half (use it or lose it)
2-minute overtime period
- each team has 1 timeout for overtime (timeouts do not carry over)
- 2nd overtime is sudden death. (First team to score wins)

EQUIPMENT: All teams are required to provide basketballs (labeled with the team’s name)

BENEFITS:

Certified HS Officials will referee each game
Scorekeepers and clock operators will be provided on each court.
There will be a Certified Athletic Trainer available throughout the day.
Both James Gym and McKeldin Gym are air-conditioned
